Hoat

HOAT has the objective of
a. Offering assistance to poor families in the form of livestock and
agricultural necessities, in particular in Thailand and elsewhere in the
world;
b. Offering support to each and every person or institution in the area
of health care, sanitation, employment, education, social position and food
supply;
c. Performing all other actions which are, in the broadest sense of the
word, connected or beneficial to the foregoing.

The foundation tries to accomplish its objective by, among other things,
providing work, teaching materials, food, water purification equipment and
livestock as also by transferring knowledge in the broadest sense of the
word.

Water Laboratory of Thai ministry of public health declares
all schools provided with HOAT's water purification system
99,9% free of pathogenic bacteria after a service period
of around 1 year!
(coliforms: less than 1.1 per 100ml, ecoli: not detected,
salmonellae: not detected, S.aureus: not detected, C.perfringens: not detected)
This result complies by far the WHO guidelines of clean and safe drinkingwater.

In December 2007 we, in association with the Dutch hospitality industry, placed the first water purification installations at schools in Thailand so that the children at these schools are no longer exposed to drinking water contaminated with ecoli and coliform and other pathogenic bacteria.
